Justice Action Task Force

Making Positive Choices — Working for Change

Grace Church has created a Justice Action Task Force that has been meeting periodically at the church to come up with ACTION STEPS — things we can do to take action about what is currently happening in the world around us. And we encourage one another to actually do them. Things like writing an email, going to an Indivisible meeting, helping a B2R family move furniture or travel to work, learning more about our AlderBoard form of government in Rutland City, attending a rally, making positive choices, connecting with people who are working for change, volunteering at Rutland Neighbors — things that start small, but have a way of leading to life-change and world-change.

Support the Grace Justice Action Task Force. Help organize monthly Action-Step Launch Meetings, read and contribute articles to the J-Mail, be aware of meeting date/times and tell people about it. Bring a friend or three to a meeting of the JATF.   Contact the Church Office to learn more.

Choose education over scrolling or denial. Intentionally choose a justice topic you want to know more about (so you can act on it!) and write specific questions and pursue learning on purpose.      www.ucc.org
