Shetland, the UK’s most northerly group of islands, has a rich heritage and a vibrant culture resulting in festivals every month of the year. In this new presentation, Alastair will explore Shetland’s calendar of festivals and the inspiration behind these highly anticipated and popular events, including the Shetland Folk Festival, Shetland Wool Week and the Viking Fire Festival, Up Helly Ah. The evening will begin with a baked potato dinner with all the toppings hosted by the Grace Music Committee.
