A new social/educational group is forming for new fathers, experienced fathers – anyone in a fathering role! If you are interested in developing as a parent, seek camaraderie and support, or have insights to share, please join us. We will meet weekly at Grace beginning Tuesday, July 31, at 6:30 p.m. The initial meeting will offer food and a discussion to help us chart a course, so be sure to bring your ideas.
The group is co-sponsored by the Rutland County Parent Child Center, Grace Church, and Evergreen Substance Abuse Services.

We welcome the internationally renowned faculty of the Killington Music Festival to give a recital in the Grace Church Sanctuary. Guest artist, Simon Ghraichy, piano, Killington Music Festival Artistic Director, Daniel Andai, violin, and Theodore Buchholz, cello, will offer an evening of classical music.
Please join us for an evening of fun music including works by P.D.Q. Bach. The renowned Boston pianist, Vytqs Baksys, will lead us through the delightful world of P.D.Q., the ‘only forgotten son’ of the Bach family. The Village Voice describes the music as a ‘juxtaposition of collage, bitonality, musical satire, and orchestral surrealism in a “bizarre melodic steam of consciousness”.’ Fun for all the family!
Come join us at the All-Church Picnic! Parish Life will provide burgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, and beverages and the fee for the use of the pool. Please bring a salad to share, towels and swim suits and a chair or blanket. Pray for a warm, sunny day! For more information, see George Jacoby.
On the morning of June 9 a group of marchers consisting of Grace Church members, concerned citizens and members of other community organizations gathered in the Grace Church parking lot. From there they marched the loop along West Street, Merchants Row, Center Street, and Court Street back to West Street. Afterwards, some marchers went to Main Street (Route 7) in front of Main Street Park to hold their signs for passing motorists.
According to Castleton Indivisible, one of the sponsors of the march, the purpose of the march was to protest and bring more awareness of the cruel, inhumane and unjustified separation of children from their parents along the U.S. border with Mexico, and at other ports of entry into the U.S.
(preceded by the Tintinnabula Handbell Choir Concert at 6:00 pm)
