March 31 – Benefit Concert

Each year, Mentor Connector volunteers guide over 150 vulnerable youth (age 5-21) through life-changing friendships to build goals, character, and skills to be successful in life. Everything they do, every family they serve, and every dollar they spend is focused on creating sustainable, lasting change for Rutland County youth.

Join us on March 31st to support Mentor Connector at our Benefit Concert full of many local musicians, including:

Join Grace UCC’s Annual Joyful Noise Showcase of Talent

WhenMarch 10 at 6pm

Where: Grace Sanctuary

We are located on the corner of Court and West.  For parking, enter our lot from
West Street.   Street parking is also available on Court Street.

The handicap entrance may be accessed through the north side portico of Grace Church via the parking lot.

About:  Our youth choirs, Joyful Noise and the Children’s Choir, will offer songs, including a medley of choruses and solos from Grease. The singers will be accompanied by a band of local musicians, and also be joined by choirs from local schools. Please come and support our talented youth, who will be raising money for the HEAL organization. Refreshments will be available to purchase before and during the performance, which begins at 6pm.

Feb. 23 – Shetland Night

Grace UCC Music Ministry welcomes you and yours to the 2nd Annual Shetland Night.  Join us for a night of food, fun and fellowship!

When: February 23rd at 5:30pm
Where: Grace UCC Fellowship Hall

Tatties ‘n Point at 5:30pm – baked potato bar with assorted toppings to choose from.
Pictures at 6:15pm – A short presentation of pictures from Fair Isle – Shetland’s most remote inhabited island – where Alastair spent his summer holidays!

Dancing at 7:00pm – Traditional Scottish dancing led by John Kirk and Trish Miller

The Rutland Area Evening Choir invites you to join us this Sunday evening where we will offer a service of Lessons and Carols for Epiphany.

When: January 27, 2019 at 7:00 pm

Where: Grace Church Sanctuary

About:
The service will celebrate the season of Epiphany with favorite anthems including Behold! A Star from Jacob Shining by Felix Mendelssohn and Stars by Ēriks Ešenvalds.

The evenings offering will be donated to the Rutland County Parent-Child Center.

We are excited to welcome back the Onion River Jazz Band to lead our 10 a.m.
morning worship on January 20, Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. They will
accompany the Sanctuary Choir as well as offer upbeat hymns and songs. Invite a
friend to Grace Church to experience this exciting contemporary style of worship.

for an Epiphany party as we unwrap and
sort the white gifts so that they can be
distributed to local organizations.

4 PM in the Sanctuary
Welcome in 2019 with an Epiphany/New Year hymn-sing, where you can sing your favorite seasonal hymns. Alastair will also play the magnificent Aeolian-Skinner organ. The hymn-sing will begin at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Plan to be with us and then continue on to the tree burning!

Ashcroft-Billings farm, 531 Creek
Road in North Clarendon, for a
bonfire and celebration of the Light
that came into the world long ago.
We will sing Epiphany carols and
have a great time. This is an
outdoor event so please dress
warmly!
