Feb. 22 ~ Shetland Night
When: February 22, 2020 at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Grace Fellowship Hall
(8 Court St., Rutland, VT) We are located on the corner of Court and West. For parking, enter our lot from West Street. Street parking is also available on Court Street.
The handicap entrance may be accessed through the north side portico of Grace Church via the parking lot. The elevator is located in the central part of the building.
About: Join us at 5:30 p.m. for a baked potato dinner with all of the toppings followed by a short presentation of pictures and stories from Shetland. Shetland is the UK’s most remote inhabited group of islands, located 200 miles off the North East of Scotland in the stormy North Atlantic, and is famous for its bird watching, knitting, and rich history of ship wrecks. Following dinner and pictures, international folk music stars, John Kirk and Trish Miller, will lead us in traditional Scottish dancing.
Oct. 17 ~ Travelogue to Ireland
Please join the Spiritual Growth and Music Ministries for a potluck dinner and travelogue on October 17 at 6 pm in the Grace Church Fellowship Hall. Barb Kirk and Tegan Kirk-Elkin will present their travels through the Emerald Isle. Free, please bring a dish to share.
July 3 ~ Travelogue
Join us on July 3rd for a Gather With Grace Travelogue and Potluck Dinner!
Ben Green will share his recent travels through New Zealand. As well as presenting pictures and stories, Ben will lead us in the HAKA – an ancient Maori traditional dance. The evening will begin with a potluck dinner at 6 pm in the Grace Church Fellowship Hall. Please bring something to share. The travelogue will begin at 6:45 pm and finish around 8 pm.

April 22 – ‘Paris to Pittsburgh’ Documentary Screening on Climate Change
A screening of a National Geographic documentary titled, “Paris to Pittsburgh” will take place from 7 to 9 PM in Fellowship Hall at Grace Congregational Church. The film will be followed by a panel discussion.
Across the country, the consequences of climate change are increasingly evident. These impacts have created a new force for change as mayors, governors, businesses, and everyday citizens launch local climate solutions.

The event is sponsored by Vermont Climate and Health Alliance and Vermont Interfaith Power & Light. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
