Comedy Piano Recital ​- July 13

Please join us for an evening of fun music including works by P.D.Q. Bach. The renowned Boston pianist, Vytqs Baksys, will lead us through the delightful world of P.D.Q., the ‘only forgotten son’ of the Bach family. The Village Voice describes the music as a ‘juxtaposition of collage, bitonality, musical satire, and orchestral surrealism in a “bizarre melodic steam of consciousness”.’ Fun for all the family!

All-Church Picnic – June 17th

When: Following the 10am Worship Service

Where: Northwood Pool

Come join us at the All-Church Picnic!  Parish Life will provide burgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, and beverages and the fee for the use of the pool.  Please bring a salad to share, towels and swim suits and a chair or blanket.  Pray for a warm, sunny day!  For more information, see George Jacoby.

Pentecost Evening Service – May 20th

When: May 20th at 7:00 pm
(preceded by the Tintinnabula Handbell Choir Concert at 6:00 pm)

The choirs of Trinity Episcopal and Grace Church will combine to offer an evening service to celebrate Pentecost Sunday.  The service begins at 7:00 pm and will include organ music, scripture, hymns and anthems in a variety of languages in a peaceful and reflective evening atmosphere.
An offering will be accepted towards the mission work at Trinity and Grace Churches.

All are welcome to sing in the choir – rehearsals will be May 6, 13 and 20 from 11:45 – 1:00pm in Grace Church choir room.

Grace Handbell Choir Concert – May 20th

Our wonderful handbell choir, Tintinnabula, will be joined by Jen Cohen on the steel drums to give a spirit-filled concert on Pentecost Sunday.  Stay after the concert for the Pentecost evening service.

Youth Showcase – May 6th

When: May 6th at 6:00pm

The Joyful Noise, Children’s Choir and Guest Musicians will offer their annual showcase on May 6th at 6pm with refreshments before, during and after! The choirs and soloists will perform music from Beauty and the Beast and other shows.
An offering will be accepted in aid of the HEAL foundation.

Ladies’ Night Out Women’s Chorus – May 4th

When: May 4 at 7:30 pm

About:
Ladies’ Night Out Women’s Chorus, directed by Lucy Tenenbaum, will present their spring concert, “The American Songbag, Plus!”, includes traditional American folk music, popular music from the 1940s and 50s, and some other special “plusses” like “Jolene” by Dolly Parton and “Silvy” by Huddy Ledbetter (known as Lead Belly,) arr. with body percussion by Moira Smiley.
Accompanied by Lisa Knickerbocker Sears on piano, Glendon Ingalls on Bass Viol, and Mary Barron on Fiddle, the group of 18 women can make a real statement with choral music. There will also be a special entr’acte with Jonathan Pendragon, Magician Extraordinaire!
A freewill offering will be a accepted.

Elaine & Janice are delighted to share this program of familiar, relaxing, and fun-filled pieces with you. These pieces are some of the most beloved works for piano duet, which promise to be so welcome after our l-o-o-n-g Vermont winter.  Please join us for this concert, destined to leave you whistling out the door.

A bonus…we always include a Q&A period, and really enjoy finding out what you would like to know about the program and our work as a Duo.
